Urban Daze
Busy streets and side walks, the urban sounds, music coming from the underground. Three in the morning, city still awake, subway trains shake the block like an earthquake. Walk in the street lights, if you walk nights; if the lights are bright then you might be alright. Homeless living in shadows, waiting for morning, wake up, yawn at the first sign of dawn. And dogs and cats living in the street, used to be domesticated and now they snapping at, the first sign of intrusion, living life in a ball of confusion. Prisons filled with products of this environment, drug dealers waiting round for early retirement. Living in the ghetto’s like walking through a maze, but I made it as I reminisce my urban daze...
